Alluring Skull

In-Game Description

A skull with meekly lingering souls.
Throw to shatter and spread souls to
attract certain types of enemies.

Souls are a concentration of life, and the
life-starved Hollows are lured by its power.
Not effective for all enemies.

Availability

• Sold by Undead Merchant (Female) in Undead Burg

• Treasure from a corpse in Undead Parish, near the two crossbow-wielding Undead Soldiers, above the Armored Tusk

Use

It will be tossed in the direction of the character, and can be aimed up or down. Certain enemies within detection presence will attack the Alluring Skull and temporarily ignore the player. Lasts for a short duration (~5-15 seconds)

Notes

• Throwing an Alluring Skull at a wall instead of the ground is more effective, distracting enemies for a longer period of time.
• Although its function is very similar to the Aural Decoy spell, the Alluring Skull works on fewer enemy types.
