Bonfires are fueled by the bones of the Undead.
In rare cases, the strong urge of their previous owner's
to seek bonfires enchants their bones with a homeward instinct.

Use

Returns you to the last Bonfire that you rested at, with all your Souls and Humanity retained.

• Sold by the Undead Merchant (Female) in Undead Burg for 500 souls each

• Sold by Oswald of Carim in Undead parish for 500 souls each

Notes

• May still be used during a boss battle to escape after recovering lost souls (unless a phantom is summoned).
• Similar in function to the Shard of Archstone in Demon's Souls
